Association Membership
The members of the Distance Education Local Teachers’ Association are:
- Regular members of the STF are employed by the Saskatchewan Distance Learning Corporation. And Substitute teachers who have substituted for the Saskatchewan Distance Learning Corporation and have become a member of this local association for the current school year under STF Bylaw 4 (Local Associations), Section 4.3.3. Substitute teachers retain full rights within the local association
- This includes the ability to attend Association meetings and events, vote, and hold office.
- Associate membership may be offered to students in a registered teacher education program, superannuated teachers and others as approved by the Executive. Associate members neither have voting privileges nor are eligible to run for office.

Constitution
Local associations give teachers a voice at the school level, empowering them to address issues unique to their school communities. Our local association, all STF Teacher Associations, operates under a constitution outlining the shared norms, roles, and responsibilities we uphold. This foundational document guides our decisions, ensures transparency, and supports the fair representation of our members.

Our association spans the entire province of Saskatchewan and serves Saskatchewan students called to work, travel, and grow abroad.
